Spring 2020

Operating under the uncertainty of COVID-19

We understand the need to maintain safe operations at all facilities, and for engineering projects to be high quality, delivered on time and at a cost that aligns with the shifting economy. We are 100 % supportive to our client’s changing needs and the changing market, and we continue to be a trusted partner.

  • We continue to sustain a highly adaptable work culture and deliver outstanding results on all our projects. We already work in a flexible and remote-working structure, which means no learning-curve for our people or our IT systems.
  • Our stable workforce is focused on finding and delivering efficient, innovative solutions for our customers. Our leadership is reinforcing this commitment to support our customers as the market shifts and the need to drive costs down becomes paramount.
  • We have always been excellent stewards of our customers’ capital and supported our customers during any market downturn—our current situation will be no exception.

We cannot predict the future, but we can confirm that our business is sufficiently flexible and robust to endure the coming changes in our energy industry. We are continuously engaged with customers and partners and are keeping our communications tools working efficiently to facilitate this open dialogue.

Our mechanical engineering team helps us solve some of the client’s most complex challenges with ingenuity and patience. Our highly skilled and fun-loving team is headed by Ghulam Mustafa, P.Eng. and includes many industry-recognized engineers, many who have been with Rangeland more than 10 years.

OQM Certified

Our OQM certification demonstrates that Rangeland is a leader in its commitment to quality management practices and standards and reinforces our continuous focus on quality.

Welcome to the Herd: Fiona Harris

We would like to introduce Fiona Harris, who recently joined us in the role of VP of Business Development.

Step Up Challenge

Huge shout out to Yoshi and Les for participating in the 2020 Prostate Cancer Step Up Challenge!  Over 400 flights of stairs in Calgary’s tallest buildings were climbed for this worthy cause and over $2500 was raised!

Sarcoma Cancer Research Partnership

Ron Daye and Rob Pearson have partnered in the creation of the Cameron Daye and Catherine Pearson Sarcoma Fellowship Fund. The fund will be put toward groundbreaking sarcoma research initiatives and will be spent on projects in Alberta — one of the first is immunotherapy treatment research, conducted at the University of Calgary’s Cumming School of Medicine.

Stay tuned for details on our annual golf tournament that raises funds for the fellowship.
