Project Manager
Position Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for leading complex engineering projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining strong client relationships and aligning with organizational objectives.
Key Competencies:
Project Leadership:
Lead multiple large-scale or high-risk engineering projects simultaneously
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
Client & Stakeholder Management:
Act as primary point of contact for clients
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Facilitate regular project updates, meetings, and reporting.
Team Coordination:
Lead multidisciplinary project teams (engineering, procurement, construction, etc.)
Assign tasks, monitor performance, and support team development
Coordinate internal and external resources, including contractors and vendors
Financial Management:
Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
Track and report financial performance, including margins and change orders
Identify and mitigate financial risks
Risk & Quality Management:
Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Oversee quality assurance/quality control processes
Scheduling & Execution:
Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed
Ensure milestones and deadlines are met
Resolve issues and remove roadblocks proactively
Business Development Support:
Support proposal development, estimates, and client presentations
Identify opportunities for additional work or scope expansion

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related)
PMP (Project Management Professional) designation preferred
8–15+ years of project management experience in engineering or industrial sectors
Proven experience managing large, complex projects (e.g., oil & gas, pipelines, facilities, infrastructure)
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, ERP systems)
Financial acumen and budgeting experience
Strong understanding of engineering processes and project lifecycles
