EI&C Design Drafting
Position Summary:
Rangeland Engineering is seeking a full-time contract Drafter/Designer to join our Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls team.
Key Competencies:
Electrical & Controls Drafting:
Support engineers and senior designers with electrical, instrumentation and controls drafting
Prepare various drawings such as single line diagrams, wiring and schematic diagrams, panel schedules, and equipment layouts
Read and adhere to client standards
Maintain electrical data, documentation, and drawings
Interact and collaborate with the project team to develop drawings efficiently and accurately within project schedule constraints
Perform other duties as required
General:
Strong organizational skills and technical competence
High attention to detail
Independent decision-making skills with an awareness of when to draw on the experience and knowledge of others
Qualifications:
Post-secondary training in electrical/instrumentation/controls
Minimum 5 years of relevant drafting experience
Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Experience with Navisworks is considered an asset
Working knowledge of fundamental design/drafting standards, practices, and techniques
