Building relationships with clients and vendors.
Rangeland establishes alliances with key suppliers and works closely to ensure corporate responsibility. Positive relationships with clients and key suppliers involves collaboration and communication, and it doesn’t stop once a contract has been signed. We know that relationships are two-way streets, so we look for feedback to help us align with client supply chain requirements.
We found a need to produce beneficial material tracking information for our clients and suppliers. Our in-house developed material management system provides material control all the way from the supplier to marshalling yards, fabricators and the owner’s construction site. Tied to our advanced and detailed model, materials are traceable to each module, process skid or area. We report on the status of materials and their delivery details in real time. We ensure fabricators receive the materials they need when they need them. Now, many of our suppliers are asking us about received dates and quantities instead of relying on their own software!
“Negotiation is a collective act. Our emphasis on relationships allows us to negotiate with vendors on the best price, best quality and best schedule to ensure the client gets the best value.”—Jocelyn Kimmett, Materials Management
