Mike brings strong analytical, negotiation and planning skills to the Rangeland team and a proven track record of relationship building.
Mike also brings to our team a unique and well-rounded perspective on the energy sector, honed over more than 30 years working in energy marketing, business development, oil and gas production, operations and transportation.
His work experience in the energy industry ranges from upstream operations, midstream engineering, procurement and construction, through to downstream end-user purchasing. During his 10-year tenure with Rangeland, Mike has held a variety of positions, allowing him to develop key strategic relationships.
He has successfully supported his clients through the expectable ebbs, flows and challenges of the energy sector, including North American gas and electrical deregulation. Along the way, Mike has seen many of them into new markets, including cross-border US markets, and negotiated contracts that have earned both profit and reputation for his clients.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Carleton University (1976).
