Rangeland will work the Client's business development team to develop process options, site layouts, infrastructure and personnel requirements. We will liaise with the Client's internal and external groups such as legal, land, marketing, operations and regulatory.
- FEED Studies ( Front End Engineering Design )
FEED studies involve the preparation of the Design Basis Memorandum (DBM), preliminary process flow diagrams, single line electrical, plot plans, equipment data sheets and a Class III or IV capital and operating cost estimate.
- Cost Estimating
Rangeland can prepare preliminary and detailed cost estimates for capital and operating expenses utilizing software and historical cost data. Costs include equipment, bulks, construction and commissioning costs.
- Schedule and Cost Control:
Rangeland utilizes a detailed schedule (Microsoft Project) which includes all man-hours, manpower resources and resource costs which can generate detailed schedule, resource utilization and cost reports.
- Trend Control:
Rangeland has developed a detailed process for engineering cost estimates complete with Trend Notification, Detailed SCN Estimate and SCN Summary Report which tracks all scope changes and impact on engineering costs. We make best efforts to issue Trend Notifications within 3 days of scope change to minimize "surprises".
- Conceptual Design and Cost Estimating:
Preliminary conceptual design and FEED studies for grassroots and facility de-bottleneck projects including PFD, material and energy balance, DBM and execution plan. Cost estimating the AFE level of detail utilizing in-house costing data base and cost estimating software.
